Edward Spencer Churchill
CEO & Chairman Edward started his career as a management consultant at Bain and Company. In 1988, he joined the Punch Group as Group Strategy Director, where he assisted the business in becoming the largest pub group in the UK. Co-founding Sun Capital Partners in 2001, he has led deals in a range of sectors including life assurance, energy and telecoms.
Group Managing Director Chris has over 20 years' experience in housing and property development. Previously Land and Planning Director with Banner Homes, and then Cala Homes South Home Counties, he joined Vanderbilt Homes in 2015 to set up the new Southern Region and is now responsible for the Vanderbilt Homes Group.
Chief Financial Officer A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Iain has over 20 years’ financial and operational experience across a range of sectors including real estate, digital media, mobile telecoms, and IT services, and a wide knowledge of growing businesses organically and through acquisition.
Non-Executive Director Rob has been at Cheyne Capital since 2015 and has over 15 years’ experience working in the real estate sector. He sits on various boards for companies backed by Cheyne and focuses primarily on investments within the housebuilding and healthcare sectors. Rob began his career at Ernst & Young and UBS, before joining alternative asset manager, Laxey Partners. He holds an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance and is also a qualified chartered accountant.
Non-Executive Director John has over 30 years of experience in the housebuilding industry. His previous role as Group Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive at A2Dominion Group involved shaping major deals with the UK’s largest housebuilders as well as launching the company’s private housing brand, FABRICA, and leading the group’s PRS investment strategy.
Sir Julian Seymour
Non-Executive Director Serving on the boards of two quoted advertising companies in the 1970s and 1980s, Julian was also the Senior Non-Executive Director of Chime Communications for more than 10 years. A founding shareholder of both Jupiter and New Star Asset Management, he was also Director of Baroness Thatcher’s private office from 1991-2000.
