Elivia Homes has announced the appointment of Peter Hutson as Managing Director of its Eastern region. Peter moves from the company’s Central region where he held the position of Construction Director for the last eight years.
Peter will lead Elivia’s newest region, which was formed following the acquisition of Millwood Designer Homes in January 2023 and successful rebrand last November. He will be responsible for expanding the business in line with the company’s wider ambitious growth targets, overseeing an active land acquisition programme and maintaining the region’s outstanding performance in customer service. He will head up an experienced team of over 40 and have overall responsibility for developments across Kent, East Sussex and Essex.
Peter’s early career as an apprentice carpenter instilled in him a passion for craftmanship and quality; something he carried with him into site management and director-level roles. A steadfast advocate for teamwork, employee morale and productivity, Peter emphasises the importance of a cohesive, open and collaborative management team. He has also been a huge proponent of utilising Elivia’s proprietary digital platform to efficiently manage developments through their lifecycle.
